WHAT TO EXPECT
We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be a bit intimidating. Hopefully, the following questions and answers will let you know what to expect to make you feel comfortable visiting us.
What should I wear?
We don’t have a dress code. Some of our members demonstrate their reverence for God by wearing a suit and tie; others demonstrate their Christian freedom by wearing a t-shirt and jeans.
Where do I park?
We have a shared parking lot with our neighbors at the Market many of these businesses are not open early Sunday morning so there is plenty of open parking spaces.
What should I do when I get there?
When you arrive, an usher will give you a service folder. This service folder contains an outline of the day’s service as well as an explanation of the service’s theme and context within the church year. Once you’ve received a service folder, feel free to chat with our members or find a seat for quiet meditation.
How will I know what to do during service?
The entire service will be displayed for you on the TV in the front of the church. If you’d like, you can use the hymnal under your chair; page numbers and hymn numbers are always included on the screens so that you can follow along.
Can I receive Holy Communion when I visit?
Amazing Grace follows the Scriptural and historical practice of member Communion. We believe that Holy Communion is a sacred and powerful thing. For this reason, we ask all guests and visitors to speak with our pastor before participating.
